Griots.net web site) believe in the principles of social equality and
respect for the individual within a community, Griots Productions work
and all content included in Griots.net programming abides by the principles
embraced by community broadcasters and independent media/cultural workers
around the globe. We are members of UK-based Community Media Association,
Commedia (http://www.commedia.org.uk)
which stated mission is "to enable people to establish and develop community
based communications media for community development and empowerment,
cultural expression, information and entertainment." We support racial,
gender, sexual-orientation, age and ethnic diversity among artists, audience,
and others involved in or featured on Griots.net web site. The reality
of the world in which we live require that we publish these Terms and
Conditions for the protection of the Artists and Visitors who use Griots.net
web site as much as for ourselves.
Reseller and Refund Info
Griots Productions sometimes acts as an reseller for other organizations.
Please note that booking and administration fees are non-refundable. As
a reseller, we forward all queries regarding the other organizations'
products and services directly to their offices. With regards to event
tickets and registrations, we regret that we cannot exchange, refund or
transfer tickets or registrations unless the event in question has been
cancelled or rescheduled, and we have clear instructions from the organization
on who's behalf we are acting. Where refunds are possible, we will try
to refund the customer within 30 days from the cancellation date. Griots
Productions will issue a full refund less booking fee on the credit or
debit card used at the time of booking depending on the refund policy
of the organization on who's behalf we are acting as reseller.
Product and company names mentioned herein may be trademarks and/or service
marks of their respective owners.
Griots Arts Services' obligations with respect to its products and
services are governed solely by the agreements under which they are
provided and nothing on Griots.net web site should be construed to
alter such agreements.
Griots.net further does not warrant the accuracy and completeness

non-performance or wrongful performance of this Agreement, including
liability expressly provided for under this Agreement or arising by
reason of the invalidity or unenforceability of any term of this Agreement
(and for the purposes of this definition, all references to “this
Agreement” shall be deemed to include any collateral contract).
In these terms “Breach of Duty” means the breach of any
(i) obligation arising from the express or implied terms of a contract
to take reasonable care or exercise reasonable skill in the performance
of the contract or (ii) common law duty to take reasonable care or
exercise reasonable skill (but not any stricter duty).
