September 2007 Program:

Griots Productions proudly presents one of the finale events for Powys Arts Month -- Incantations: An evening of African and Celtic Tales featuring Rob Soldat (Powys) and Nicky Delgado (Cardiff).

Storytelling is an important part of Britain’s shared historical and contemporary cultures. This special storytelling event for grownups celebrates the tellers of magical tales and the art of listening and sharing conversation.

We invite you to join Welsh storytellers -- poet and Afric Cymric wordsmith Nicky Delgado with legendary collector of lore and local author Rob Soldat for some wonderful stories & conversations. Music provided by DJ Mally Powell.

Admission is £5 via ticketweb.co.uk, by phone 08700 600 100, or at the door. Children aged 7+ are welcome with their parents. Admission for children is 1/2 price at the door. This event is to benefit Llanigon Primary School.
